Hi all,

As I’ve said previously, it’s really important during this time for both your physical and mental health to stay physically active. The NHS recommend that you do at least 30-60 minutes of physical activity a day for you to have a positive impact on your well-being but anything during this time is a step in the right direction.

Below are the activities we’ve found that you can do easily within your home or garden with little or no equipment required. I’d love to hear from you which are your favourite to do.

Year 7 into 8 / 8 into 9 / 9 into 10

Hi all,

During this term and last we would have been focussing on your summer sports, including athletics. So during this term as well as completing some physical activity every day we’d like you to complete a short activity on a different athletics event each week. The nature of these is very similar to the quizzes you were completing on Show My Homework previously, where there is some information about the event and then all you have to do is to complete some short questions. We will be releasing the answers the day after they should have been completed so you can check how well you’ve done.

I hope you’re all safe and well,

Mrs Brown
