Joe Wicks is providing 30 minute daily workouts (Mon-Fri). You can either stream them live at 9am or go back and complete them later on. These are perfect to do inside your home as they don't require any equipment and little space. We encourage you to do at least 30 mins of physical activity everyday.

Year 7 / 8 / 9

During this time there are still lots of things that you can do at home to keep you active. Below are some links to videos of various workouts you can do in the home, we are suggesting you do at least 3 of these a week:

In addition to these, other options are:

  • create your own workout in your house/garden e.g. running up and down the stairs, triceps dips using a chair, skipping etc
  • if you already have them play on games such as Just Dance that get you moving, videos of these can also be accessed on YouTube.

Year 10

BTEC Sport

During this time, you need to be getting on with your coursework for Unit 2. Your class teachers will contact you directly (via Show My Homework) with regards to which bits to focus on and when they need to be handed in. Below are the assignment briefs for this unit, but other guidance has already been placed onto Teams and Show My Homework.

Year 11

BTEC Sport

During this time, you need to be getting on with your coursework for Unit 5 (Training for Personal Fitness) and any other improvements Mr Clarke has asked you to do. Mr Clarke will contact you directly (via Show My Homework) with regards to which bits to focus on and when they need to be handed in. Below are the assignment briefs for Unit 5.

GCSE PE

During this time, you need to continue to prepare for your upcoming exams. Specific tasks will be directed to you by Mrs German via Show My Homework. In addition to these you can continue to do the following tasks:

  • Use the ‘Topic on a Page’ knowledge organisers to test yourself, check and then retry
  • Complete past paper questions

Year 12

Extended Certificate

During this time, you need to be getting on with your coursework for Unit 3 and any other improvements Mrs Howard has asked you to do. Mrs Howard or Mrs Brown will contact you directly (via email Show My Homework) with regards to which bits to focus on and when they need to be handed in. Below are the assignment briefs for Unit 3.

Extended Diploma

Mr Bates, Mr Mepham, Mrs Brown and Mr German will communicate with you via email or Show My Homework with regards to the coursework units you are undertaking at the moment. You will be set mini deadlines, where work needs to be completed and sent to the teacher overseeing that unit, so that they can then give you feedback. Below are the assignment briefs for the units you will be working on during this time.
