Year 11 Working at Home

During the course of next week (w/c 30.11.20) Year 11 students will be expected to work from home and remotely link in to live Teams lessons and resources on Teams for their regular timetable. All Year 11 teachers will be providing remote learning (either live Teams lessons or resourcing online) for students to complete during the next two days. All students have a Teams class site for each subject that they can communicate through with their class teacher. Resources for the lessons can be found on the individual class Teams sites and so students need to ensure they log into this and complete the work/lessons that have been set by each class teacher.

Shadow Autumn Assessments : if you have been away from school during the assessment week, you will have received notification via email that you have an opportunity to ‘catch up’ on some assessments during the forthcoming week. Please note you must still sit these assessments as planned. Please ensure you are at school for 9am using  the North Entrance and a member of SLT will meet you and show you to your seat. Once your assessment is finished you are to return home and continue with ‘on line’ Teams lessons.

Critical worker children and vulnerable children will have  a place available in the school. If you would like your son / daughter to attend school and  access their Teams class site, please email  with details of your son / daughter’s name and tutor group; they are to arrive at school for 8:45am on each day. A member of SLT will greet any students and take them to a computer room.  Also, for any student that is in receipt of Free School Meals who would like to collect a packed lunch we again ask that you email with your son / daughter's name and tutor group. They are to arrive at school using the north doors at 12 noon each day where a member of SLT will greet them and provide the lunch to be taken away.

I will keep you updated during the week ahead.
